We took the kids and some of their cousins to Bridal Veil Falls while in Utah this year. First, we stopped for a picnic lunch.
Then it was on to the falls. Cade and Brock decided to hike to the first, big waterfall, without telling us. They about gave us a heart attack because there were several trails to choose from to come back down, and we knew they didn't know for sure which one was the right one. Thankfully, they chose the right one. Cade came down down with a huge smile on his face, saying how awesome it was up there, and he got to drink the water straight from the waterfall. I am just so glad he didn't get lost, and told him to tell me that he is going that far next time... that was definitely his adventerous side coming out! He is usually so cautious... at least they were safe and apparently had a blast up there!

It was a fun day, but once again, I was over-did it. I was exhausted by the time we got back to my mom's house!
