Snow in Vegas=Water in computer

I'm a little slow to post pictures of the snow that made national news over a week ago. The cable from the outside to the inside of our house for the internet got water in it. That means we ended up with water inside of our computer. Not a good thing! Well, we finally have everything fixed, and up & running, so here are some pictures from our snow day (they did cancel school one of the days)!!

The Giants and the Jets

This past weekend Cade had his last football game of the season. He LOVES playing tackle football, and is such a football junkie. He and Bryce both have fantasy football teams this year, and right now, Cade's is actually doing better than Bryce's:0

The airshow was this last weekend at Nellis AFB. Bryce's company is building a high school right near the base, so we went up there with some friends. We BBQ'd for lunch, and had an awesome view of the airshow - for free!

The kids thought it was pretty cool they were flying through the rainbow...

I had a few other good pictures, but can't get them to upload right now. I'll try it again later.

Trick-or-Treating (Part 2)

Sorry it took so long for me to post the second part of Halloween, it's been a crazy week. This was Halloween night, and we seriously have the coolest neighborhood! The streets were packed, and there was even a haunted house. The kids loved going door to door, and it didn't take Evan long to grasp the concept of free candy!

Haylee and her friend Claudia who lives down the street.

We thought this costume was so hillarious, we had to get a picture of it. We still laugh when we see it.

Trick-or-Treating (Part 1)

Friday morning we woke up and got ready to go to Bryce's work for some trick or treating. The kids love going to Core, so they were very excited. We met up with KC & Holly, and Mike & Kaysea. The kids got to go from office to office filling their buckets with candy.

They make a cute Rapunzel and Sharpay - don't ya think???

Haylee and Savannah were so happy to see eachother again

Kendal and Klara - so cute together
Cade going long for the catch..

After we were done, we all went to Chili's for lunch.

Mike's big joke when we were leaving Core- the Mormon's came, and now the candy is gone......

Fall Festival

At church our ward does a fall festival instead of a trunk or treat. This year there was a chili cook-off, and a games and prizes for the kids. It was pretty fun, and this year for the first time ever, our kids will get to go trick or treating from house to house!

This is Cade and his friend Zack that lives just down the street.

Haylee and her friend Nya. Can you tell they both enjoyed the cupcakes they won on the cake walk?

Pumpkin carving

We went to Mike and Marisa's for pizza and pumpkin carving. There were a ton of kids between 3 families, and they had so much fun together. Thanks for having us!

These 3 look WAY too serious with their pumpkin carving!

Kendal's 1st birthday!

Kendal's birthday was on the 23rd. I tried to put the same birthday princess hat on her that Haylee wore for her first birthday. She wasn't too excited about it, and kept pulling it off. It wasn't much of a party because Cade had football practice that night, so we decided to just go with ice cream sandwiches. Kendal was still pretty excited about it, and the older kids were too!

She wasn't too sure what to do with it at first......
But soon enough she figured it out...

It has been a wild ride for the last year with 4 kids (and two so close together) but we survived, and are loving it! Kendal is so sweet, and has such a fun personality. It will be interesting to see what this next year brings with her now walking and starting to talk (maybe she can teach Evan a few words:)

Pumpkin Patch/Carnival

Last night we took the kids to the pumpkin patch. One downfall of living in the desert, is you don't have beautiful fields to search through for pumpkins. You usually end up in some dirt lot, and pick from a few pumpkins that are already set up. This year, we found a "pumpkin patch" that had a carnival attached to it. I was a little nervous at first to put the kids on some of the rides, but they ended up having a blast.

Here is my blue eyed baby girl with her pumpkin-

One of Cade's favorite rides:

Evan was so excited for this ride, but once it actually started moving, he wasn't so sure about it.

Cade loved this wind glider ride - it was actually pretty cool.
