I can't believe July has pretty much come and gone. Last weekend we went to Pioneer days that our old stake puts on every year. This year it was so nice not to be big and pregnant (I was pregnant for the last two summers). Although, I did have a very fussy baby. Kendal was not feeling well at all. She is teething, and she had horrible fevers for several days. She hung out with Bryce most of the time, who is still recovering from his knee surgery. Cade, Haylee and Evan had a blast with all of their friends. Cade got into the boxing ring with Jacob, went on the blow up slip n slide, and down a giant blow up water slide. My kids, along with Taite, Jacob and Kaycee all got their faces painted. We ended the night sitting with lots of friends from our old ward, and an watching an awesome firework show.

4th of July
I had to work on the 4th this year, so we went to dinner the night before and then to a park near our old house that does firework on the 3rd every year. It worked out great for us. Then, on the 4th, we had some friends over to swim during the day. That night I left for work, and Bryce and the kids went to a friends house for more swimming, and then a big firework show with the neighbors in front of our house.
Evan is such a goof ball! He has discovered he loves to smile for the camera... Now if we could just get him to tone it down a bit:)
The kids were having relay races while waiting for the firework show to start.
I think by the end of the summer, we are going to have a TON of pictures off of this "diving rock". It is a hit with all of the kids, and so I have a bunch of pictures already.

I've been meaning to post this for the last week or so. Thanks to Jori for posting a link to this blog
I have seen the link to her blog on several blogs lately, but if you haven't seen it, check it out.
She just lost her youngest child in a drowning accident. On one of her posts, she said this Love your little ones--even the ones that drive you crazy. If you could see them the way God sees them -- you would be astounded at their glory. I am always thankful for the little reminders.

Haylee's dance recital
I finally have time to post these pictures. This was Haylee's first dance recital a few weeks ago. She did great! She can be so shy at times, that we wondered how she would do up on the stage. We were pleasantly surpised when she got out there, and danced her little heart out! We were so proud of her, and she can't wait until dance classes start again in August.
She is the second one in from the right.
Sorry this picture is so dark. She is the one on the right.
These last two are the finale. Haylee said the best part was the balloons they dropped right at the end.
