Friday morning we woke up and got ready to go to Bryce's work for some trick or treating. The kids love going to Core, so they were very excited. We met up with KC & Holly, and Mike & Kaysea. The kids got to go from office to office filling their buckets with candy.
They make a cute Rapunzel and Sharpay - don't ya think???
Haylee and Savannah were so happy to see eachother again

Fall Festival
At church our ward does a fall festival instead of a trunk or treat. This year there was a chili cook-off, and a games and prizes for the kids. It was pretty fun, and this year for the first time ever, our kids will get to go trick or treating from house to house!
This is Cade and his friend Zack that lives just down the street.
Haylee and her friend Nya. Can you tell they both enjoyed the cupcakes they won on the cake walk?

Kendal's 1st birthday!
Kendal's birthday was on the 23rd. I tried to put the same birthday princess hat on her that Haylee wore for her first birthday. She wasn't too excited about it, and kept pulling it off. It wasn't much of a party because Cade had football practice that night, so we decided to just go with ice cream sandwiches. Kendal was still pretty excited about it, and the older kids were too!
She wasn't too sure what to do with it at first......

But soon enough she figured it out...
It has been a wild ride for the last year with 4 kids (and two so close together) but we survived, and are loving it! Kendal is so sweet, and has such a fun personality. It will be interesting to see what this next year brings with her now walking and starting to talk (maybe she can teach Evan a few words:)

Pumpkin Patch/Carnival
Last night we took the kids to the pumpkin patch. One downfall of living in the desert, is you don't have beautiful fields to search through for pumpkins. You usually end up in some dirt lot, and pick from a few pumpkins that are already set up. This year, we found a "pumpkin patch" that had a carnival attached to it. I was a little nervous at first to put the kids on some of the rides, but they ended up having a blast.
Here is my blue eyed baby girl with her pumpkin-
One of Cade's favorite rides:
Evan was so excited for this ride, but once it actually started moving, he wasn't so sure about it.

Haylee's 5th b-day, Part 2
As promised to the grandma's, here are some pictures from when Haylee opened their presents. She loves her HSM blanket, and twister dance game! Her washable coloring book was also a big hit. I added a few extra pictures from last Monday when we went to Peter Piper Pizza for her dinner choice. Enjoy!
We are still working with Evan on smiling for the camera! This is his new one... I really hope by the time we do some family pictures he is over this one:)

Happy 5th birthday Haylee!
Ok, so technically her birthday isn't for 2 more days, but we had her party on Monday with our FHE group -since it was at my house this month, this just made it easy!
I love these girls! They are so adorable together!
After our lesson, the activity and treats were birthday presents and cake! What more could a kid want from FHE??
Haylee's cake was a cute butterfly cake that the kids helped decorate.
Haylee said she got what she always wanted... a bag she could color on with markers, and a new Webkinz. She named her new Webkinz puppy Soffie, because it's so soft and cuddly. I was going to add more pictures, but Blogger isn't cooperating right now. For the last two nights, she has slept with her bag and Soffie, and hasn't really put either of them down! Thanks Alicia and Faith:)

Gotta love these two!
Tonight after I gave Evan and Kendal a shower, they went into Evan's room and started playing with a red balloon. They were having a blast throwing it back and forth. It's fun to see them finally playing together. Most of the time, you will find Evan putting her in some sort of wrestling move, and Kendal screaming. We then tell him to go give her hugs, he does, and in the sweetest voice possible, he says "Sorry baby, sorry". It was so nice to see them actually interacting with each other. If only moments like this would last a little bit longer.
On a side note, Evan has a fat lip on the top and bottom. I don't know exactly what happened, but he ended up with blood everywhere on his face, and all over the tile floor. Luckily, no teeth came loose, and he got over it pretty quickly. All day today he was talking about his lip, the blood and the tile. He still doesn't talk enough to actually tell me what happened... I can only imagine.
