Down on the Farm- for a good cause

One of our friends is having open heart surgery. So we went to a fund raiser to help out the family. It was such a fun experience for my total 'city slickers' family!

Reunited with our favorite girls!

It's been a few years since we have seen these two girls, Leah and Reyanna- and oh how we have missed them! We had so much fun catching up with them, and the kids were just as excited to see them. They have been through so much and have had to rely on each other for everything. I love the strength of these two girls. I only hope I can raise my kids to be as courageous, brave, and smart as these two.

So glad we can be back together with them, and as Leah pointed out, the Family sign in the back is just perfect for this picture<3 p="">

Last Day of School 2013

We had a great school year! Haylee finished up 3rd grade and was sad to leave Mrs. Davidson's class. She is such a fun, cute teacher. She and Claudia have been BFF's since they were 5. Where does the time go?

Evan came home with this cute picture on the last day of school. It melts my heart to see this. Love him!

We went to Kolson's new house to eat pizza and swim. The boys were crazy as always, but had a good time. Until- Cade decided to jump on a long board and skate down the street. He couldn't stop and ended up completely crashing. He tore up all of his toes, and had a bad gash on the side of his abdomen. We bandaged him all up, but he was pretty sore for about a week. I can't believe I forgot to get a picture! I'm sure he won't ever forget it though!!

Evan's Kindergarten Graduation!

3 Kinder graduations down! How does the time fly by so fast?? I am so happy for my sweet Evan. He had a great year with an amazing teacher who my kids have all loved, Mrs. Ghering. She is such an incredible teacher, I couldn't have asked for a better teacher to introduce my kids to school!

Kickin' off summer at the Condo!

Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins came out for Evan's Kindergarten graduation. They stayed in their condo, and we had 2 fun days of swimming, BBQing, and floating in the lazy river. Definitely a great way to start our summer!

Award in Physical Education

Way to go Cade! He received an award for Physical Education at Cadwallader. He broke the record for the fastest mile ever run in his grade- in the history of the school! So proud of him:)

Bilbray Field Day/ Family Picnic

It was so fun to help out with the Kindergarten field day this year. Evan had a blast with all of his friends, and Kendal fit right in with all of the kids as well. It was strange not to have Cade there for the family picnic this year though. I guess that is something I will just have to get used to as the kids get older and start going to different schools:(

6 Incredibly Happy Faces!!

Words can't even begin to express the way we all felt this night. It was Bryce's last day of school. This has truly been the hardest thing our family has ever gone through. The sacrifices have been countless. We have gone through so many ups and downs in the last 4 years, but, we made it! Together as a family, we all did it! This journey has taught us what is truly important. I am so thankful to a loving Heavenly Father who helped us conquer all of the obstacles thrown in our path - and trust me- there were plenty. So now onto a new chapter of our lives! I can't wait:)

A bee sting = emergency room visit

I got a call from the kids' school saying Evan had been stung by a bee during recess. He was fine, we went to the park later that day, he didn't complain at all.

The next morning, however, we woke up to this. He still wasn't complaining much, so I decided to wait and see if the redness got better throughout the day.

Unfortunately, by the next day, it was so much worse, and we decided we better take him to the hospital. He couldn't even walk on it by this point.

Bryce was working that day, so he decided he would just come pick him up and take him. That way he could be the one to start his IV and get things going so it wouldn't be so scary for Evan. He was such a tough kid, didn't cry at all. He said the IV dad started didn't even hurt:)

Once at the hospital, the doctor said it was infected and that it happens all the time. I had no idea! So after IV antibiotics, he was sent home to continue taking them for the next 10 days. Thankfully it cleared up pretty quickly. So thankful for my awesome husband who can take our kids to the hospital in his sweet ride! Love my paramedic!

Harlem Shake- Wilcox Style

Because what else do you do on the weekends??
(Make sure you watch it full screen to really get the full effect. You wouldn't want to miss one second of this...) Ok, or maybe you would!

Easter 2012

Easter
This is the only picture I took. I was S.I.C.K....
Worse than I have been in years. But, we did manage to color easter eggs, I think anyway. I was so drugged up on cold medicine, I barely remember. Good thing I took a picture for proof.

Spring Break- Hiking at Red Rock

We decided to go to Red Rock during spring break. My original plan was to go to the kids Discovery trail. When we got there, the kids all saw the huge rocks for hiking, and said the kids trail was for babies! Seriously -my 'babies' are growing up way too fast! It turned out to be a gorgeous day for a hike and slurpees:) I'm not sure I'm ready for these kids to all be growing up so fast, but it sure is fun spending days like these with my 'grown up' kiddos!
